Political Activism
We actively work to push for smarter legislation that protects Hawaii’s marine ecosystems. This includes advocating for fair bag limits, size restrictions, and policies that help high-impact species like reproductive fish. We also challenge outdated regulations that don’t make sense for the environment or for traditional fishing practices.
By working directly with lawmakers and community stakeholders, we aim to create legislation that balances sustainability with cultural preservation. The goal is simple: protect the ocean while ensuring that people can continue to rely on its resources responsibly.
